Mindora ADHD Assessment Pilot
⚠️ Important: This is a pilot trial, not a routine service.
We are testing a new hybrid assessment process that combines AI-assisted questionnaire completion with an in-person consultation. Places are limited, and participants will be asked for feedback to help improve the system.
Why Mindora?
NHS waiting times for ADHD assessment can stretch to several years. To help tackle this, Consultant Psychiatrist Dr Bhaskar Punukollu has developed Mindora, an AI-assisted ADHD assessment platform designed to make the process faster, more accessible, and more affordable — while maintaining high standards of care.
How the Pilot Works
AI-based session - You complete validated ADHD rating scales and answer questions via a secure AI-powered chatbot or avatar. Note: The AI does not diagnose or make treatment recommendations. It simply organises your questionnaire responses for the doctor.
30-minute consultation - With Dr Punukollu (in-person in Central London). If ADHD is diagnosed, an initial prescription can be provided.
Follow-up sessions (if required) - Three follow-ups are available (20 minutes each) at £100 per session.
Eligibility
This pilot is open to:
Adults aged 18 and over
UK residents
People with no recent (last 6 months) psychiatric hospital admission or severe mental illness
People with no recent history of alcohol or substance misuse (last six months)
No diagnosed cardiac problems
Cost
Initial assessment (AI + consultation): £245
Follow-ups (up to 3 × 20 minutes): £100 each
Total package (assessment + 3 follow-ups): £545
As this is a pilot stage, we are offering ADHD assessments at a significantly reduced cost (£245 for the initial assessment, £100 for follow-ups). This reflects both the value of your feedback in helping us improve the service and the need to cover some costs of delivery.
(Private ADHD assessments typically cost £1,500–£2,000)
Dates Available
3rd, 7th, 8th and 10th October (Central London)
Further dates will be added for a second pilot in Jan/ Feb 2026.
Consent & Safeguards
You will be asked to sign a consent form outlining the pilot nature of the service, the role of AI, and your rights.
The AI platform is GDPR-compliant and does not store or use identifiable data for training.
Diagnosis and treatment decisions are made only by the doctor, not by AI.
If any issues arise, Dr Punukollu will address them and, if appropriate, offer referral guidance to standard ADHD services.
Participation in this pilot does not affect your position on NHS waiting lists.
About the Pilot
The aims are to:
Test whether patients find AI-assisted questionnaires acceptable and helpful.
Assess whether the hybrid model (AI + 30 minutes clinician time) is effective and well-received.
Collect feedback to refine and improve the platform.
Conflicts of Interest
Dr Bhaskar Punukollu is the Founder and CEO of Mindora, as well as the clinician conducting assessments in this pilot. This ensures first-hand feedback can be gathered and improvements made quickly.
Future pilots will invite independent clinicians to test the system.
